Your Fall Cleaning Checklist

Fall cleaning tip pressure works

September is here, and it is officially fall. This means cooler weather and more outside fun like bonfires and outdoor dinners. It also means that it will be cold before we know it and there are many tasks around your home you’ll need to complete. Thankfully, those with a pressure washer will finish their fall cleaning checklist even faster. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Clean your patio furniture, outdoor toys and grill before putting them in storage. This will keep them in good shape by shielding them from dead leaves, rain and snow, and you can use them again on the first warm day of spring without having to clean again!
  2. Pressure wash your driveway, walkway and siding. After a summer of projects, it’s a good idea to pressure wash those grease stains, mildew and dirt off of your outdoor surfaces. Why now? Most people don’t want to drag out the pressure washer in cold weather, and it will help your home shine just in time for visits from neighborhood trick-or-treaters and holiday parties.
  3. Clear out your gutters. Keeping your gutters clear during the fall is important for preventing clogs that can cause major damage to your home’s foundation and roofing. This is one of the more tedious fall tasks, but using your pressure washer can make it easier!
  4. Clean and close the pool. If you have a pool, you already know how much maintenance they take. Summer fun is over and it’s time to clean and close your pool!

Remember, your pressure washer will be useful throughout the Fall season, especially for wet sweeping leaves. When the season is over, be sure to check out our tips on storing your equipment during winter.
